The Real Minesweeper
A downloadable minesweeper 3D for Windows, macOS, and Linux
The standard minesweeper has become boring for me. Therefore, I decided to create it in 3D with a free look, penetrating sounds, atmospheric locations and different levels of difficulty, to the point that you can create custom playing field of any size.
The game has:
- 4 difficulties
- 4 different locations
- 6 character emotions
- 4 bg musics
- 4 win musics
- several interesting places
- uniform & flags color customization
Download
Install instructions
Windows
- Download the build suitable for your system (x32, x64)
- Unarchive .zip to the desired folder
- Launch Minesweeper3D.exe file
MacOS
- Download archive
- Unpack it to the desired folder
- Launch TheRealMinesweeper file
- If you receive an error “TheRealMinesweeper” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. Then:
- Open terminal
- Paste this command: xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Users/user/Downloads/TheRealMinesweeper.app
- Replace /Users/user/Downloads/TheRealMinesweeper.app with your .app file path. To do that: navigate to the .app location, press RMB on the TheRealMinesweeper at the bottom of the finder, press: copy "TheRealMinesweeper" as a pathname
- Launch command by pressing enter
- Now you can launch the game!
Linux (if something doesn't work out, contact the Internet for help, I don't have Linux, so I didn't check these instructions :В)
- Download archive
- Unpack it
- Double click file: TheRealMinesweeper_Linux.x86_64.x86_64.x86_64

I'd really like to be able to edit the sensitivity. It's WAY too high
Also, if possible, I'd like a no guess mode
And the audio settings don't stick when restarting the game
